Law Summit
The annual Law Ball is a chance for members and non-members to momentarily escape from academics and careers and enjoy a night of dancing, entertainment, food and time with friends.
It is held every Lent Term.

From bar crawls to game nights, we host at least one social every week! Previous themes for bar crawls are Christmas jumper, PJAMAs, Cops and Robbers and there will certainly be more to come!

We provide workshops for many topics - our most popular are the careers and academics workshops but we also host workshops for negotiations, mooting, mock interviews and mock assessment centres.
Academic workshops provide help and insight on coursework, problem questions, note taking, how to efficiently study.
Careers workshops provide help and insight in cover letters, firm research, networking, commercial awareness, applications.

We host regular collabs every term with societies such as Careers Advancement Network Society, Junior Lawyers Against Poverty, Lancaster Economics & Finance Society, BAME and more to come.
Previous collab events consist of bake sale, EDI panel talk, games night, poker and cocktail night.

Our recent networking event with HSFK was a great success with panelists giving insight into the firm culture and providing application advice.
